As a Thelemite "Will" is something of varied meaning and great import.  Different topics often require different interpretations or personal conjecture on Will  yet the core is the same.  In the interest of this a few years back I had looked up the root and the etymology to see what could be gleaned therein.

I started this as a simple response to a post on Live Journal and at some point realized it might actually be a good diary entry here:

So do you really think we shoud be considering a preemptive strike against Iran?  Is that what you think is the correct and necessary action?  I for one believe that they are pursuing a nuclear energy system and of course it produces by-products that would be viable for weapons but so do we!  
We should be encouraging exploration of non-nuclear energies as well and if the UN should sanction Iran then the US should follow those sanctions as well and be held to the same standards.

The UN is acting in a diplomatic way to curtail those possibilities while still allowing a nation to progress and develop utilitizing nuclear science to forward it's growth.  Or at least it is trying to, despite the tactics of the US.
